LV Wallet

During lunch time, Irene called me to go down to Raffles Hotel to buy the LV bag that she wanted to buy and I also finally decided to buy my LV wallet instead of Gucci wallet too... After 7 years without changing one. :-) Come to think about it, it's pretty worth buying a few hundreds dollars of wallet and can use for ages. :-)

Reached the boutique, the same thing I was looking for is the Speedy bag; Irene and Vivian keeping asking me to buy since I like it so much and there's a voucher free for Afternoon Tea for 2 person at Bar & Billard with min. spend of $1,200 in a single recepit too. I don't find that's attracting to me as I keep looking at the Speedy bag. Paying $1,180 for the bag, does it worth it? Hmm... Moreover, I'm asking Yen yen to buy the Coach bag for me from States next week. I think I better have a good consideration before I spending even more these 2 months. :-)

My new buy:

Shopping therapy

After work, went out with Irene, May and Yen yen to Orchard for our shopping therapy cum price checking as Yen yen is leaving to Houston for her business trip and at the same time, we have asked her to buy something from there.

First, we went to Coach to check out our bags and end up they don't have the design we saw on internet.

Secondly, we went to LV to check out our Speedy and Neverfull. At first I wanted to get a Speedy but after seeing Neverfull, I can't make a decision. :-) The price for these two bags are $100 different, of course Speedy cost more. But in terms of size, Neverfull is bigger and can contain more things. :-) After seeing, I have decide to think it over which one to buy... I have asked my mum about it but end up she told me that both also not nice as its too common on the street especially Neverfull. For me, I prefer Speedy as I wanted that so much since the day they launch... No matter how, I think I still have to consider about it. :-)

Lastly, we went to see Gucci to look for my wallet. After looking at my wallet, I feel a bit disappointed as it's not my idea design for overall... I love the interior design and the front of the wallet but after looking at the back of the wallet, I felt dis-hearted as there's a zip coin-pocket behind it. :-( So I have decide to choose back LV to get the design that I wanted.

After visiting all the shops that we wanted to see, we walked over to Paragon to see Prada. By the time, we reached there the shop has closed. We walked out of the place and saw the F1 car. We quickly took out our camera phone to start our snapping... :-)

Nice F1 Car... :-) Guess whose car is this? Its Lewis Hamilton

Babes with the F1 car...

Upgrading at TBH

My house is having upgrading now... Can't imagine that the whole house is so dusty and no hot shower for next 14days... *argh*

First, they are going to hack down both toilets at home (which have done it yesterday) and they have installed a temporary toilet for us in the kitchen. The temporary toilet can only shower and 'do SMALL business' (which have done it yesterday too). If you want to 'do BIG business', you got to go down for the 2nd temporary toilets which located just beside the car park... :-(

After that they will do some tileing for the floor and the wall, follow-by installing new window for the whole house and the main gate as well which all these will takes about 11 days including Saturday.

The moment I reached home last night, I started to sneeze non-stop. Hate that kind of feelings... So terrible... :p After upgrading the toilet, next will be the kitchen as my house kitchen are wore-out which the renovation will takes about a month plus to complete. :-) Will suffer again... *sigh*

But I know after all this renovation and upgrading my house will look very beautiful... :-)

My MD is STRESS...

Looking at my MD a moment ago, I find that he has no more smiling face and has more stress faces on his face for the past few weeks. I know that our department business is bad but we got no choice. Supplier factory shut down, no stocks available, commission rate for next year cut down too, etc... We are facing a lot of problems within these few months yet there's nothing we can do now...

As of today, we checked our figure. We only manage to do about 15% of our target! And our MD started to ask the same questions again and again for the past few weeks. We also answered him with the same answer again and again.

Hopefully end of the month or next month, things will pick up...

Updates on 23 Sep:

This morning, when I step into the office, my boss told me that our sales will be back to normal this week as our supplier factory are back to normal. :-) I think the most happiest person will be my MD as last few weeks he has been very stress of our figures.

Bangkok Dangerous

Last night after my shopping at Whitesand, Don and I decided to go to Downtown East for movie. We went to bought tickets to watch 'Bangkok Dangerous' by Nicholas Cage, Charlie Young and Philip Waley.

Basically I'm very disappointed with this movie. It turns out not the one which I wanted to see... =( The story is crap and sad that Nicholas Cage acted in it...The movie has a slow flow of the plot, minimal violence and gloomy mood. I'm really very disappointed with it.

Friends, if you are Nicholas Cage's fans, please don't go and watch this if not you will be like me (feel disappoined). =(

Kelong Trip - 06-080908

Just came back from Kelong yesterday for a 3D2N trip. This trip the members are Don (our tour leader), Jeremy, Carie, Kellyn, Martin and myself. For Jeremy, Carie, Kellyn and Martin are their 1st time to Kelong.

This trip, our catch are so much better than my last trip as we caught a few 'Big Eye' fish, Kunning, 'Saitoh' and etc... I think I got to eat fish everyday as Don gave me a lot of fish to eat... =)

Come to think about it, in the past I hate to eat fish but after coming to Kelong, I started to eat a lot fish. Maybe Don influence me too as he loves to eat fish. =)

Here's our photos:

Don with the 'Giant' Trevally

Singapore Hang-outs

1) In the east:

a) Mid Summer Nite Breeze

Address: 133 Pasir Ris Rd (Located near to Elias Rd along Pasir Ris Beach Park to Carpark E) Tel:6584 6515
Open: 5pm to 2am (Sun to Thu); 5pm to 3am (Fri & Sat)
The Place: One of the two beach bars at the far end of Pasir Ris Beach Park that are the East side's best-kept secrets. The decor is back-to-basics and the menu and drinks' list are predictable with a mix of Western and local cuisine, beer and a few cocktails. But the chairs and tables on a timber deck just by the sea, this is the perfect place to enjoy a breeze in the evenings.
Factor: The after-work crowd here isn't too shabby.

b) Beach Culture @ Watercross

Address: 131 Pasir Ris Rd (Located near to Elias Rd along Pasir Ris Beach Park to Carpark E)
Open: 530pm to 1am (Mon to Thu); 330pm to 3am (Fri); 1230pm to 3am (Sat); 930am to 1am (Sun)
The Place: This bar-cum-watersports club is done up modern Bailnese style-sleek, dark beach furniture and boasts indoor and outdoor dining areas and two bar counters. The eatery serves European cuisine and its speciality is the cheese or chocolate fondue, a spillover offering from owner Raymond Png's other business, the Swiss Culture Restaurant at Suntec City. You can also rent jetskis or kayaks and head to nearby islands like Pulau Ubin.
Factor: A good place to observe sea-sports lovers (read: tanned hunks and babes) on weekends.

c) Bark Cafe

Address: 1000 Upper Changi Rd North (Turn off at Upper Changi Rd North into carpark of Changi Chapel & Museum
Tel: 6545 4118
Open: 11am to 1230am (Sun to Thu); 11am to 130am (Fri & Sat)
The Place: The nondescript hang-out serves standard cafe fare such as chicken wings and pasta, and beer on tap. Its appeal, however, is in its pretty set-up. The open-air cafe is housed in what looks like a wooden verandah, with timber pillars and floor panels. Garden torches light up among the surrounding greens, giving the place a tranquil air.
Factor: No pretensions at this chill-out spot

d) Sunset Bay @ Bougainvillea Garden

Address: 1300 East Coast Park (At carpark F2. Walk towards the beach)
Tel: 6448 9060
Open: 3pm to midnight (Mon to Fri); 12pm to midnight (Sat, Sun & Public Holidays)
The Place: A reincarnation of the popular beach pub that was a Sentosa institution for 12 years till it closed in 2006, owner Cyndi-Anne touts the new place, which opened late last year, as a bistro located in a garden setting by the sea. The signature eats, such as devil's curry and tropicana chicken, are Eurasian-flavoured to reflect her heritage. Also recommended are the mango and strawberry frozen margaritas.
Factor: People who came here know how to have fun, even if their glory days are long over.

2) In the west

a) Bar Bar Blacksheep

Address: 879 Bukit Timah Rd [Cherry Ave] (Turn off Bukit Timah Rd [the part after Sixth Ave] on to Cherry Ave)
Tel: 6468 9382
Open: 11am to midnight (Mon to Fri & Sun); 10am to midnight (Sat)
The Place: It's a bar housed in a kopitiam but don't expect to find old men in wifebeaters downing ABC Stout. Instead, you'll find a trendy crowd making merry over a variety of about 20 international beers suck as Hoegarden and Stella Artois. After years of being frustrated with the alcoholic offerings at local coffee shops, owner Alvin Phua opened this joint last August because he believed people "deserved better than plastic tables and plastics chairs". So here, you plant your bottom on rustic furniture amid an atmospheric setting of potted shrubbery and orangehued lamps. If you need a bite, there are proper kopitiam stalls here serving Western, Northern Indian and Thai-Vietnamese food.
Factor: The crowd here has a penchant for the alternative, so you may see some interesting people.

3) In central

a) Canopy - Garden Dining

Address: Bishan Park II, 1382 Ang Mo Kio Ave 1
Tel: 6556 1533
Open: 8am to 11pm daily, Bar opens till 1am
The Place: This newly opened bistro serving international food is one of two eateries at Aramsa Spa - The Garden Spa. The other is Green Room Cafe, which serves vegetarian cuisine. Aramsa's owners started Canopy earlier this year to cater to non-vegetarian diners. In line with the spa's garden concept, it boasts views of the laidback Bishan Park from its resort-style furniture. The menu includes dishes such as Balinese Pork Curry with Steamed Rice (from $14.50) and Linguini Tossed with Lobster and Fresh Herbs In A Creamy White Wine Reduction (from $14.00). For liquid refreshment, there's a more-than-decent selection of beer and wines.
Factor: The place is owned by former Mediacorp actress Jazreel Low, so you may see some famous folk.

The Place: This restaurant facing the Straits of Johor is housed in an 8,000sq ft pre-war building, which used to be home to the most senior British naval officer in Singapore. The eatery, serving Western and Chinese dishes.
Factor: Crocs allowed (Babyboomers and families)

b) Sunset Grill & Pub

Tel: 6482 0244

The Place: Set in the heart of Seletar Airbase, it is perfect for plane spotters. Even the drive in is scenic. You pass a number of black-and-white colonial bungalows, and the whole journey is akin to travelling through a World War II movie. Thr grub is Western, or American, and the spicy buffalo wings are a must-try.

The warerfront lounge, Gastrobar, is where it's at. Sexy, chill-out beats play on while you lie back on comfy sofas and admire the view of Keppel Marina.

Concoctions here include deep-fried shrimp and pepper leaf in red curry tempura with tamarind dipping sauce. The sweet and tangy Morning Glory cocktail gives even the most seasoned drinker a kick.

Quiet Office

These few days, weeks or months, my office is so quiet as not much work to do for everyone due to our supplier plantation has shut down for maintenance. When will this going to end? As they are trying to regain the business by this month but seem like they can't. =(

If this going to continue then we afraid that our business for the last quarter will not be able to catch up. =( Then my bonus will be lesser compare to this year and our hope to hokkaido will not be able to fullfill. =)

My Health

Last night, I couldn't sleep at all as this morning I'm going for my medical check up which I have fixed it 2 months ago. This time, I need to do 2 scan. One is viginal scan and the other is my womb. I'm doing this scan as my viginal bleed at times.

When I reached the hospital, I'm so scared. Don't have the appetite to have any food at all. I, register myself at the counter, then the nurse told me to wait outside the scanning room. I sat there myself and waited for about 45mins for my turn. (At that time my hands feel so cold wish there is someone accompanying me.) I stayed in the room for about 30mins to do all the scan. After finished, I asked the doctor how's everything? She just told me that everything is fine but I still need to see my gyane so that she can explain more about it. After taking my report, I went over to see my gyane.

She told me that everything seems fine except I have some light shadow near my womb. When I heard it, I asked her. What's the shadow? Is it something bad or not? Is it that shadow which causes me to bleed at times? She can't answer me, all she answered me was my viginal is fine and maybe is my homo changes which causes the bleed. As for the shadow, she wants me to go back to see her after 6 months.

After I left the room, I started to think wild as I'm afraid it's a cancer cell... As I know, cancer cell is started from a light shadow from there, they will grow into cell.

I'm really started to get worried... I don't whether should I tell my mum about this if she happens to ask me later... =(

My New Blog...

Finally I started with this new blog as my friends has been complaining to me that they can't leave me a message from my previous blog. =)
